At it’s core, the keto diet can be very simple. You cut out sugar, wheat and refined carbohydrates. You eat mostly meat, dairy, low carb fruits and vegetables to stay under 20 net carbohydrates per day and put your body into a state of ketosis. Now you body is burning fat and using ketones for fuel instead of glucose.
